Leporem Perfect Whitening Blemish Balm Review and Swatches

Time to review another product from the #73 F/W Natural Makeup Superbox!

Today it’s the Leporem Perfect Whitening Blemish Balm! This bb cream has SPF 35, and is supposed to control oil, provide wrinkle care, and brighten dull skin for a healthy glow.

The color of this bb cream is a beige pink with gray undertones. It actually seemed too dark for my skin at first (as you can see in my swatch below), but once blended out it matches perfectly! The color won’t work for everyone as it’s fairly light and has gray undertones. The coverage is sheer to medium with a satin finish, but it can be built up in areas where you feel you might need more coverage.

What I really like about this product is the texture! It’s nice and creamy and blends very well. It makes my skin look much more even-toned and flawless! And for such a creamy base, it lasts a very long time on my dry skin! I put it on around 7 am and I didn’t notice fading until around 5 or 6 pm!

One thing I did notice was that it feels like there is a lot of air in the packaging. I don’t know if that’s just a fluke, but that makes me wonder if it really has 35mL of product.

The Verdict: As far as the product itself, I really really like it! I’m so glad that it works for my skintone because the formula feels great on my skin! I will be sad when I run out! However, I’m not super happy about the amount of air in the packaging.

Mustaev Color Powder Starlight Opal Review and Swatches

Today I’m going to talk about the Mustaev Color Powder Starlight Opal in 03 Gold (from the Superbox #73 F/W Natural Makeup box).

This is a pearly white loose pigment that can be used on the eyes, mixed with lipgloss and other cream products, and as a highlight, according to Memebox. There is a ton of product (2.5 grams!!), so this will last me forever! I wonder if I’ll ever be able to use it up, haha.

This really is a beautiful pearl glitter. The color is more of a pearly white rather than a gold, but it’s actually sheer so it can be used on top of many other colored shadows. I love using it as an inner corner highlight/accent when I want to feel especially fancy! I find that it stay on my lids really well with a primer and there isn’t much fallout after the initial application. It’s a bit too glittery for me wear everyday, and I definitely think it’s a bit too much to use as a highlighter on the face.

The Verdict: I really like this! It’s so beautiful and I know it’ll last me a really long time. I definitely think this product is worth purchasing if you love the sparkly look!

ddung Lipstick Review and Swatches

Time to review another product from the #73 F/W Natural Makeup Superbox!

This time it’s the ddung Lipstick, which came in one of three shades. The shade I received was number DL 10 Pure Peach. This shade is an orangey-coral color and has a long-wearing, satin finish.

The color of this lipstick looks great on my hand, but is slightly too yellow-toned for the skin on my face, so it looks a little odd. It is also slightly patchy, but that can be evened out and the color adjusted by a little lip gloss, so its not that difficult for me to pull off. It also has a pleasant rose-floral smell that reminds me of Lancome’s Bifacil makeup remover. I don’t smell it all that much once it’s on my lips, which is good for those who may not enjoy the fragrance.

The packaging of this is also really cute, I love the pink color and the bows! I’m a sucker for the cute packaging of Korean makeup (like the ones from Etude House), so this is right up my alley!

The Verdict: I like this product, but I don’t think I will buy it again. The shade takes more work than I’d like for it to look good with my skin tone and it is kind of patchy as well.

Has anyone tried other products from ddung? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!

Tony Moly Delight Circle Lens Mascara Review

Hello everyone!

Today I’m going to review another product from the F/W Natural Makeup Superbox!

The Tony Moly Delight Circle Lens Mascara came in the shade 03 Clear Circle. It claims to add volume and shine to lashes without the black pigment that is perfect for those “no-makeup” makeup looks. It can be worn alone or over another mascara as a topcoat, which is my preferred method for using it.

This is really just a clear mascara without much fuss. I do like wearing it over my other mascaras as it adds a bit of shine and helps it last longer. I see a lot less smudging or flaking on the days I wear this. There isn’t really much else to say about this product, haha.

The Verdict: I do enjoy this product, but I’m not sure if I will purchase again. It is affordable (Memebox says it’s US $4), but I don’t know if it makes enough of a difference to use it all of the time. Fun to try out though!

DD’ell Stay Forever Gel Eye Pencil Review and Swatches

Today I’m going to review a product that came in the F/W Natural Makeup Superbox!

The DD’ell Stay Forever Gel Eye Pencil is described by Memebox as a creamy gel pencil that lasts all day with a formula that is formulated for sensitive eyes.

The shade is in number 04 Espresso, which is a deep brown with a slight hint of shimmer. I really love the color of this eyeliner, since it is a nice deep brown that can be worn with most daily makeup looks. The formula is also great, and it does not smudge on me at all, which is a rare feat for a pencil eyeliner!

One problem I have with this eyeliner is that I don’t understand how you are supposed to get more product out. It is not a twist up design, but the packaging is made of plastic, so I guess you sharpen it? I would have appreciated a twist up design for this or wooden packaging.

The Verdict: I really love the formula of this! But the design is so confusing!

Have any of you tried this eyeliner before and know if you’re supposed to sharpen it? Let me know in the comments!

Update: Apparently, (according to a review I saw on GMarket), you do sharpen them! Huh! That’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen for an eyeliner, but ok! If that means I get to use up the rest of this great formula, that’s fine by me!
